Where do I meet for the Tour?
We require all passengers to meet at either of our two offices, 30 minutes prior to their scheduled tour time. Choose either our original location next to the entrance to the Victoria Conference Centre at 706 Douglas Street , or our second location at 645 Humboldt Street on the North side of the Fairmont Empress Hotel. Please see our map for a visual representation of our location on the Victoria Inner Harbour.
Where do the boats depart?
All of our tours depart from the “Yellow Line” on the floating docks in the Victoria Inner Harbour. This is just a short walk across the street from our offices and the Fairmont Empress Hotel.
What should I wear?
Pants rather than skirts or dresses are recommended as the weather conditions can be windy and the air may be slightly on the cooler side. Layer your shirts, a t-shirt with a sweatshirt and or light jacket is plenty. Casual shoes (no pumps) are recommended for on the boats.
What should I bring?
The following items will always be helpful in making your tour a happy memory:
- Sunblock
- Sunglasses
- Bottle of water
- Camera or video camera and film
- Binoculars
Are there any passenger restrictions?
Expedition Catamarans:
There are no restrictions for these vessels.
Do you provide safety equipment?
Expedition Catamarans:
Although floatation suits are not required to be worn on this vessel, coast guard approved floatation jackets are provided for our passengers’ comfort.
This vessel is also equipped with life boats.
Do you provide storage for my belongings?
There is storage available both on the vessels as well as at our office.
Are there restrooms on the boats?
Yes, all vessels are equipped with a full restroom for the comfort of our passengers.
