Happy World Orca Day Orcas are the oceans top predator, the largest member of the dolphin family and a toothed whale. They are highly intelligent and incredibly beautiful!   On June 8th 2025, we had a wonderful encounter with T63 ‘Chainsaw’ and friends, plus several Humpbacks! T63 is one of the Superstar orcas that visit the Salish Sea and is easily identified thanks to his uniquely shaped dorsal fin.   On June 7th 2025, we had a magical evening with Humpbacks and Orcas. The Humpbacks were definitely the highlight as we watched multiple whales, including Split Fin and Divot, lunge feeding in unison!   On June 6th we witnessed an Orca T-party as 11 Bigg’s Killer Whale were hanging out together 🙂 We go to see some acrobatic and playful interaction between the Orcas ID’d as the T49B’s and T137’s. We also encountered a number of Humpback’s near the Romeo buoy. You can see more images from this…
